Youth Employment Strategy (YES) Program has been developed to help youth facing barriers to employment get the skills and knowledge they need to find jobs.

This program is part of the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment Strategy (YES). Since 2006, the Youth Employment Strategy has helped more than 555 000 young people develop skills, to the benefit of the Canadian economy.

Through workshops, ongoing coaching and work placements, 48 youth with disabilities will gain valuable skills and work experience in industry sectors such as service, business, and retail.

This fully paid course combines five weeks of skills training with ten weeks employment placement afterwards. This employment can be up to twenty five hours a week and placement is based on individual goals.

ATN is hoping to change the lives of youth in London living with these barriers. If you are between the ages of fifteen and thirty you may qualify for this exciting process.
