| Skills for Employment Program |
|
The current session of this program began on Tuesday June 14th, 2010. The program is comprised of an in-class component (June 14, 2010 - Sept. 24, 2010), and a placement (Sept. 27, 2010 - December 3, 2010). If you are interested in this program, or know of someone who might benefit from participation in it, please call Connie at 519-433-7950 or write to info@atn.on.ca.
The program is located at ATN Access Inc., 141 Dundas Street Suite #504 and is designed to lead directly to job search with full or part-time employment being the ultimate goal. Instruction includes: Computers / Keyboarding, Mathematics, English, Job Search, Life Skills, and a 10-week unpaid work placement.

| ATN’s Introduction To Computers |
|
The new program begins on Tuesday September 7th and runs until Friday October 1st, 2010. It is held from 9:00-11:30 in room 507 of The Skill Centre. This program gives participants an introduction to computers through various exercises in Microsoft Word, Internet Explorer and other software packages.

ASL Classes in September
ATN Access Inc. staff is planning to offer Level 1 and Level 2 Conversational ASL classes in September at the Tanys Quesnell Living Learning Centre located at 101 Cherryhill Blvd, Unit 113 (right next to the Bank of Montreal). Level 1 is currently scheduled to start on Thursday, September 9th; The Level 2 class is scheduled to start on Wednesday, September 8th. Class runs from 6:30 to 9:00 for 6 weeks. We need five confirmed participants in order to run the class.
